Our Story

We weren't looking to start a channel.
We were looking for our people.

How It Started

Not a crisis of faith — a hunger for more.

We're Nhan and An. We met in college, got married in 2008, and spent the first few years of our marriage like a lot of Catholic couples — going to Mass on Sundays, saying grace before dinner, raising kids who knew the prayers.

Then we started wondering: is this it?

Not in a crisis-of-faith way. In a "we want more" way. We wanted our kids to actually know the saints — not as historical figures, but as friends. We wanted family prayer to feel like an encounter, not a checklist. We wanted to be part of a community of families who were all pulling in the same direction.

We couldn't find that community. So we started building it.

The Dinh Family

Meet the family behind the channel.

We live in Alpharetta, Georgia. We have 12 children — 9 on earth, ranging in age from 1 to 16, and 3 in heaven. We go to daily Mass, pray two full rosaries as a family each day, and spend a lot of time figuring out how to pass on a faith that is alive, not just inherited.

We are not experts. We make mistakes constantly. We have a Family Court in our house — complete with a $20 gavel from Amazon — because otherwise the arguments never end. We have kids who test our patience and stretch our faith in ways we didn't expect.

And we wouldn't change any of it.

Why We Started

Why we started Raising Great Saints.

Nhan started this channel because we were tired of not having the conversation. Most Catholic parenting content falls into two camps — perfectly polished and impossible to relate to, or so focused on problems that it leaves you feeling worse.

We wanted something different: real families, real struggles, real faith, and real hope.

We believe every parenting decision is a soul decision. We believe saints are not distant historical figures — they are people our children can know personally. We believe the rosary is not a duty to be completed but a relationship to be entered.

And we believe parents need each other. That's why we're here.

"We're not experts. We're parents on the same journey, sharing what works, what doesn't, and why it matters for eternity."

The Hosts

Meet Nhan & An

Nhan Dinh

Husband, Father, Storyteller

Nhan is the husband, dad, and primary storyteller of the channel. He brings humor, vulnerability, and a love of telling the true story — even when it doesn't make him look great. Outside of the channel, he runs a technology company and has spent years learning that the most important work he does is at home.

An Tran

Wife, Mother, Heart of the Family

An is the heart of the family and a steady presence on the channel. She went from falling asleep during one decade of the rosary to leading two full rosaries with the family every day. Her transformation is one of the most honest stories we tell — and one of the most encouraging ones for parents who feel like they're not measuring up.
